General Information

This guide is created by community members as a compilation of class related information. How does my identity work?

Summoner

The Summoner's identity consists of 5 Ancient Spirit Summoners that utilize Orbs, officially known as Ancient Energy, as a cost for each summon. Ancient energy represents a unique resource that can be acquired by using your normal skills.

The Master Summoner Ark Passive line enhances each Ancient Spirit by adding secondary effects as well as additional visual effects.

The Communication Overflow Ark Passive line turns the 'Akir' summon from a large damaging skill into a powerful buff for your normal summons.

If you are running one of the none Sm Skill 01 22 Phoenix setups, make sure to alter your ark passive and put both extra points into Ark Passive 01 3 Ancient Energy Enhancement.

Use a specialization pet.

You can move some points from critical to swiftness if you feel like the class is too slow, just be aware at the probable damage loss by doing so.

Ark Passive Evolution 20 Blunt Thorn is also an option, in which case you would need to invest points into Ark Passive Evolution 29 Keen Sense to ensure you hit the crit cap (119.2% crit rate).

If the fight duration is longer then 10 minutes~ consider running Ark Passive 01 10 Release Potential over Ark Passive 02 3 Transcendent Power.

With the large amount of innate crit rate this build gets (Ark Passive Sm 6 16% + Sm Skill 01 25 11.8%) be aware of not going over the crit cap, if you do due to synergies you can take a point out of Ark Passive Evolution 27 Zealous Smite and put it into   Ark Passive Evolution 35 Destruction Charger. Other options include going Ark Passive Evolution 20 Blunt Thorn or simply moving points from critical to swiftness in the evolution tree.

  • Hit Master is the recommended choice over Stabilized Status due to its ease of use. If you are confident in your ability to maintain 100% Stabilized Status uptime you can run it over Hit Master for a slight DPS increase.
  • If you have Relic books of certain engravings, such has having relic Stabilized Status and relic Hit Master its better to run both and drop a Legendary Cursed Doll.

IF YOU ARE RUNNING ANCIENT LEGACY YOUR ENGRAVINGS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT:

DROP CURSED DOLL AND HIT MASTER

TAKE RAID CAPTAIN AND EITHER ALL OUT ATTACK OR MASS INCREASE

  • Important to keep this skill off cooldown.
  • Will slowly track boss movement, can also be precasted and is an important skill to the animation cancel arsenal as it both can animation cancel other skills and be animation canceled itself.
  • Stagger: 240 over full duration, 15 stagger per tick.

  • Your most impactful skill, it offers high damage, gauge, stagger and weakpoint. Make sure to aim properly to hit the three spears on every cast.
  • If running epic wealth rune over galewind downgrade Sm Skill 01 2 Steed Charge to a rare rune.

  • Tripod Tier 3 46 Snare Moss Trap extends the duration and when paired with a Wealth Rare Rare Wealth rune allows for some decent gauge generation.
  • If running epic wealth rune over galewind downgrade Sm Skill 01 2 Steed Charge to a rare rune.

  • Low damage skill but provides you a lot of mana and gauge, use this off cooldown.
  • Tripod Tier 1 41 Swift Cast is an alternative if you dont find yourself needing the mana. This offers slightly faster cast time for a more responsive counter.

  • Recommended Choice - Offers good utility in mobility, a second counter and still provides some gauge. 
  • If you find the need for push immune you can run Tripod Tier 2 23 Tenacity instead.

Summon skill, Highest DPS Option

  • Will stay active for a long time, so be alert and active in canceling and recasting whenever a boss moves out
  • Requires high uptime to be superior to Sm Skill 01 14 Released Will, therefore be mindful on what content you run this skill on. Mordum G3 is a prime example of a strong use case.
  • Replace Sm Skill 01 2 Steed Charge damage gem for this skills damage gem.
  • Stagger: 216 over full duration, 9 stagger per tick.
 

T Skill and Awakening

Mariposa
Mariposa

Summon the buds of Mariposa to the specified location. After a while, Mariposa flies out of the flower, freezing the enemies within range. Once fully bloomed, freezes all enemies within range.

Awakening
Bagron's Wrath

Summon quicksand. After some time, Bagron jumps out of the sand,dealing damage to foes at the center of the quicksand and launching them into the air. Bagron then bites the foes in the air, dealing damage and slamming them down onto the ground. 

Bagron’s Wrath is very important to maximize the biggest amount of burst the spec build can do. Please refer to the opener rotation guide below for further explanation. 

Hyper Awakening
Bagron's Frenzy

Summons Bagron’s Sand Nest. Bagron goes on a rampage dealing damage and when she reveals herself, Bagron roars and deals damage again. The damage is centered around the caster.  

Bagron’s Frenzy is very important to maximize the biggest amount of burst the spec build can do. Please refer to the opener rotation guide below for further explanation.
