Ferality Wildsoul Identity

The main meter is the center orb (Phantom Beast Energy). This meter is required for you to cast both Bear and Fox skills. You can gain back this meter by either using Phantom Beast Skills, or passively when you are in human form.

There are two other meters that are required to be managed as well. The yellow meter (Bear Energy) is gained by using bear skills or passively when you are in bear form. The blue meter (Fox Energy) is gained by using fox skills or passively when you are in fox form.

When the Bear meter is full, you unlock "Forbidden Sorcery: Ripping Bear" which is tied to the Z keybind. To use this skill, you must already be in bear form. This skill claws at the enemy and finishes with a large final slash dealing massive damage.

When the Fox meter is full, you unlock "Forbidden Sorcery: Fox Star Rainstorm" which is tied to the Z keybind. To use this skill, you must already be in fox form. This skill summons 5 orbs and launches them towards the direction you are facing dealing massive damage.

Phantom Beast Awakening Identity

The Phantom Beast Meter is the main focus of Phantom Beast Awakening. Once this meter is full, you can press Z to enter the Phantom Beast Awakening state. In this state, you gain 20% attack speed and move speed, your meter slowly drains over a period of time, and you can gain up to 20 stacks of Phantom Beast Spirit which you can then use by pressing Z again and reducing 5% of the remaining cooldowns of your skills (excluding awakening and T-Skill) for each stack consumed. While in this state, you can also press X to exit the Phantom Beast Awakening state early and automatically consuming the stacks that you had gathered during the form.

With this build, your crit rate will be lacking quite a bit. It is a damage loss to grab Zealous Smite over Unlimited Magick. The ways to make up this crit rate would be allocating points into Keen Sense. If you are sitting somewhere around 90% crit rate without Master, you can drop Master and swap instead to Critical

The reasoning for putting a point into Bestial Resonance is because the damage you gain from putting one point into each is slightly (legit 0.1%) higher than putting both points into Swiftness. If you think that having that extra point in Swiftness will save you, go ahead and allocate it into there.

Ancient Strength and Nimble Movement are both viable options. Both will relatively equal out to the same point by the time the raid ends UNLESS there are good atro windows (think of rumble during Serca) where you would gain much more damage with Ancient Strength. With Nimble Movement, you want to consistently have the skill on cd as it is one of your higher meter generators. Choose whichever you are more comfortable with.

  • Please do not try to force MP Efficiency. Your Z skills for bear and fox do not use mana. If you are really running out of mana, invest in mana food.
  • Raid Captain can be used for Bear under certain circumstances where you are playing with a Valk/Artist/SS/DB/Striker/WD. Valk is a guarantee for you to get good RC Efficiency while the rest depends on the player playing those classes. You can drop Cursed Doll for Raid Captain for slightly higher damage. In cases where you have a 6% movespd bracelet, you can also play RC.

Earthquake pound has the player jump into the air, transforming into a bear and landing on the target dealing massive damage and refilling phantom beast energy back to 100%.
The Hyper Awakening, Smack Smite, functions exactly the same as Earthquake Pound.

  • There is no need to stim. You can get full bear meter by just pressing skills.
  • Make sure to activate destiny before going into the raid. This is simply done by pressing Growling Bear.
  • At the beginning, you can build adrenaline using any skills you want, the Vulpine > Claw > Vulpine is just preference based. With this, you would have to drop para immune Vulpine for synergy Vulpine. If you are running para immune vulpine instead, you will have to roll to apply synergy before using Awakening and Swish Bear.
  • To maximize your damage, press atropine whenever you press Z. You will not be able to ever fit all three Z's into the opener atropine.
  • Once this opener is over, Ferality goes by a "press the button that makes the most sense" priority system. You never want to sit on two charges of any of your skills.
  • Remember that the Cores already enhance your Z. There is no need to stack up to 3 Hunter Instinct charges before using Z.
